Soil & Substrates

Fluval Bio-Stratum
Made from 100% natural, mineral-rich volcanic soil from Mount Aso in Japan and infused with beneficial nitrifying bacteria, Bio-Stratum is specifically formulated to provide immediate biological activity and maintain ideal conditions for a thriving planted aquarium. Characterized by its non-compacting 1 – 3 mm powder granules, Bio-Stratum allows plants with even the finest and most delicate roots to easily spread throughout the porous substrate while absorbing a powerful mix of nutrients, minerals and trace elements that promote explosive growth and overall health.

Fluval Stratum
Collected from the mineral-rich foothills of Mount Aso Volcano in Japan, Fluval Stratum makes an ideal alternative substrate for planted aquariums and those featuring shrimp.

ADA Amazonia Ver.2
Amazonia Ver.2 uses black soil for a raw material and it stands out against the leaf color of aquatic plants. By adding an appropriate amount of Amazonia supplement and laying Amazonia Ver.2, aquatic plants grow better and a beautiful Nature Aquarium can be realized. In addition, natural soils make the water quality suitable for aquatic plants and tropical fish, and it is easy to maintain an aquarium at the initial stage, so it can be used widely from beginners to veterans.

Dennerle Scaper’s Soil
Scaper’s Soil is an active substrate specially developed for aquariums. It creates slightly acidic, soft water, which most animals and plants from tropical areas love. Scaper’s Soil is ideal for plant aquariums, especially aquascaping, and shrimp aquariums. Scaper’s Soil consists of 100% natural raw materials. Made from various, carefully selected, natural soils, it provides all the vital minerals and trace elements that aquarium plants need on a daily basis. The irregularly shaped grains with a diameter of 1 to 4 mm make the soil look particularly natural. Its loose structure allows optimal soil drainage, and plant roots can grow in well. Scaper’s Soil offers the perfect basis for healthy, powerful plant growth and magnificent colors. Mosses also benefit from this and show it through compact growth and lush green leaves. The deep black coloring creates an intense, lively contrast to the bright green of the plants.

JUN Master Soil
Master Soil is a Japanese active substrate intended for planted tanks. Master Soil has more plant nutrients (mainly fulvic and humic acids as well as minerals) and naturally regulates the parameters of the water in the aquarium by lowering the value of the pH, GH and KH parameters.
Master Soil substrate can also be used for the breeding of ornamental shrimp and tropical fish. The active substrate Master Soil is manufactured in Japan using the latest technology of multi-stage surface sintering. As a result, the Master Soil substrate has excellent absorption properties, very high porosity, which prevents the formation of anaerobic zones and accelerates the colonization of Master Soil granules with large colonies of bacteria that quickly decompose “ammonia” (NH4 +) and nitrite (NO2). As a result, the time between water changes is significantly longer.

ADA Power Sand
Power Sand combines porous materials with organic nutrients and delayed-release inorganic nutrients. Moreover, it contains Bacter 100 and Clear Super, which quickly increase microorganisms in the substrate which helps encourage the growth of plants.

Green Land Power Sand
Green Land Power Sand is a substrate material designed to provide nutrients to the roots of aquatic plants and promote the growth of substrate bacteria. It is incredibly porous and works best when combined with contour soil. It is completely natural and does not affect water quality.

Natural Golden River Sand
Golden River Sand is a premium natural substrate that brings a warm, earthy tone to your aquarium. With its smooth texture and golden hues, it enhances the aesthetic appeal of aquascapes while offering a safe and comfortable base for bottom-dwelling fish and aquatic plants. Ideal for both freshwater and marine tanks, this sand supports biological filtration and provides excellent anchoring for plants.

Aquarium Driftwood
Aquarium driftwood is a key hardscape element that enhances aquascape design with its natural texture and organic shapes. It releases beneficial tannins, supports biofilm for shrimp and fish, and offers natural hiding spaces—creating a beautiful, balanced, and healthy planted aquarium setup.

Aquarium Rocks
Aquarium rocks are essential hardscape materials used to design natural aquascapes and planted tanks. These decorative stones add depth, contrast, and texture while providing biological filtration surfaces for beneficial bacteria—helping maintain a healthy and visually stunning aquarium environment.

Natural River Stones
Natural river stones are smooth, inert rocks perfect for aquascaping freshwater tanks. Their rounded shapes and earthy tones create a calm, natural look while being safe for all fish species. Ideal for biotope and nature-style aquariums, they blend seamlessly with plants and driftwood.

Saltwater Live Rock
Saltwater live rock forms the biological foundation of marine aquariums, hosting beneficial bacteria and microfauna essential for filtration and stability. It provides natural structure for coral placement, enhances biological diversity, and gives reef aquascapes a lifelike, vibrant appearance.

Aragonite Sand
Aragonite sand is a calcium-rich substrate ideal for marine and reef aquariums. It naturally buffers pH, stabilizes alkalinity, and promotes a healthy environment for corals and invertebrates — creating a bright, natural seabed that enhances both water chemistry and aesthetic appeal.

Artificial Coral
Artificial coral adds color, depth, and structure to saltwater reefs or freshwater displays without the maintenance of real coral (banned in India). Made from aquarium-safe materials, it’s ideal for decorative marine setups, providing realistic reef aesthetics and durable, low-care hardscape options.
